Marla is a well known guide and certified fly casting instructor.   She is a transplant from Southern California now lives in Ludlow, MA., with husband Tony Sarlan.   Since 1993 has owned and operated Marla Blair's Fly Fishing Guide Service & Fly Fishing Instruction.   Top female, freshwater, Fly-Fishing Guide/Instructor for Western Mass. and North Western, CT.

Come out, bring your family.  Enjoy an evening watching our various demonstrations, speaking with guides, learning about the Massachusetts state hatcheries and stocking programs.  Learn how rods are constructed, purchase needed supplies from vendors.  Perhaps you will a prize in one of the raffle's.  Talk to other attendees about productive techniques and productive waters.

Membership booth : There will be a membership booth staffed by two of our members who will be happy to explain what the club is about and how club membership may benefit you.  Our yearly membership fee is only $15.00.  Our club supports many outdoor activities and programs of interest to individuals and families who themselves enjoy the outdoors.

** Directions to the Elks Club Ludlow **

From Indian Orchard

Go over the Indian Orchard Bridge.

Turn right and stay in right hand lane.

Go thru the next set of lights and curve left onto East Street.

At the top of the hill, go to the set of lights at Chapin Street.

Turn Right.

3-4 miles on the right will be a sign for the Elks Club. It's in a wooded area. Go in the front entrance and turn right.


From The Mass Pike

Take Ludlow exit #7 off of the mass pike and turn right at the ramp end. Turn right at the next set of lights onto Chapin Street

Go straight thru the next 2 sets of lights.

After the second light go approx. 3-4 miles until you see the Elks Club sign.

It's in a wooded area.

Go in the front entrance and turn right.
