Week #4 - Hare's Ear Nymph (weighted) & Tellico Nymph

Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear Nymph (weighted)
Hook - 3906B or 9671 (6 to 18)
Thread - Brown
Tail - 4 or 5 strands of woodcock flank
Body - Fur mixture from base of ears of English
hare's mask make thick toward thorax
Rib - Fine oval gold tinsel
Wingcase - Woodcock flank feather tied in at
head to extend over thorax - clipped short
Legs - Fur from thorax picked out on
each side with bodkin

Tellico Nymph
Hook - Mustad 3906 or 9671 (8 to 14)
Thread - Black
Tail - None or a few short hackle barbules
Shellback - Quill segment from cock ring-neck
pheasant tail or several strands of peacock
herl pulled forward over body after
rib is wrapped 
Body - Yellow floss tied thick
Rib - Peacock herl
Legs - Soft brown hackle collared and tied down
