Report #1:

This is a note from John Mieczkowski of the Turners Falls Rod and Gun Club.  Gentlemen, I would like to thank you again for your participatopm in our Kids Field Day Event yesterday (Sunday, October 5, 2008) at the Turners Falls Rod and Gun Club.  We had about 120 kids attend, and it is possible through groups like yours to keep it interesting for them.  I apologize that I couldn't say goodby and thank each of your members in person.  I was running around trying to get prizes out to kids.  Thank you again, and I hope that you would be interested in coming back.

Manny Dasilva, Jack Lyons and Harold Norman were the club members who did the fly tying demonstration for that event.  Thanks guys for the great job!

"Report on the Grandparents and Kids Family Fishing Day"

I attended the the family fishing day with my grandaugthers, my wife and our son and daughter- in- law.  We had a great time.  The event was co-sponsored by the Granby Senior Center, Masswildlife and Waste Management.  It was free to the public and there were prizes for most fish etc.  Jim Lagacy, Masswildlife, was there and supplied all the fishng equipment and bait for those who didn't have their own equipment.  Waste Management supplied a picnic lunch and gift bags for all participants.  I believe everyone who attended had a great time.
